ATELIER · INDEPENDENT MATERIAL PRACTICE
The Atelier
Aurelia develops collectible objects through material research, measured repetition and close attention to the evidence left by making.
01 · MATERIAL PRACTICE
Matter is the first collaborator.
Each project begins with a physical question: how a surface records temperature, how a joint can remain legible, or how reflected light changes the apparent depth of a mineral field.
Materials are not styled into uniformity. Casting traces, oxidation and variation are retained when they reveal the logic of the object rather than distract from it.

Material Archive 01
Casting a surface that remembers heat.
A short process film documenting mineral aggregate, resin, metal, wool and stoneware.02 · EDITION METHOD
Limited by attention.
Edition sizes are determined by the amount of attention a process can sustain. Limitation is treated as a working condition, not as manufactured scarcity.
Every work is recorded by edition number, dimensions, material composition, provenance and lead time. The record travels with the object.
WORKING PRINCIPLES
01
Source precisely
Material origin and transformation remain part of the object’s identity.
02
Make slowly
The pace of making is set by process, not by the pressure to multiply.
03
Record openly
Edition, dimensions, materials and lead times are kept legible.
